Code of conduct

• Verbal comments that express superiority based on gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion
• Sexual images in public spaces, unwelcome sexual attention, advances or suggestive behavior
• Sending or displaying offensive material, emails, text messages, social media content, or jokes or remarks that may be offensive
• Deliberate intimidation
• Sustained disruption of talks or other events
• Unsolicited physical contact
• Supporting or encouraging any of the above behavior

Anyone engaging in such behavior may be asked to leave the show and may be refused entry to future shows at our sole discretion.

At IMEX, we take the safety and well-being of all attendees, exhibitors, speakers and sponsors seriously. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind, and all participants are expected to comply.

If any participant engages in behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, we may take any action we deem appropriate, including removing them from the event, banning them from future events, or involving law enforcement where necessary.

We will communicate the outcome of any action taken, along with any next steps, to everyone involved.

To maintain a safe, welcoming, inclusive, collaborative and positive environment, we ask participants to:

• Respect personal boundaries: attendees, exhibitors, suppliers and staff should always ask for consent before engaging in physical contact
• Use inclusive language: be mindful of the words you use and avoid language that could be offensive or exclusionary to certain groups of people. You can view our Inclusive Language Guide below
• Foster a culture of learning: ask questions and engage in meaningful conversations that promote understanding and knowledge sharing. Be willing to listen to the viewpoints of others and participate respectfully in discussions
• Address inappropriate behavior: if you witness or experience inappropriate behavior, report it to us immediately. Contact us at [email protected]. Emails are sent direct to our Operations Director and People & Talent Director
• Promote and celebrate the unique perspectives and contributions of all individuals

• Don’t bully others through malicious, obscene, threatening or intimidating actions
• Don’t post words, images or content intended to harm someone’s reputation or create a hostile environment
