The Wisconsin Center District is Milwaukee’s downtown convention, sports and entertainment campus, bringing together three distinct venues that give us incredible flexibility in what we can host.

At the center is Baird Center, our 1.3-million-square-foot convention center, featuring more than 435,000 square feet of function space, including 300,000 contiguous square feet of exhibit space, 52 breakout rooms and the nearly 32,000-square-foot rooftop Baird Ballroom.

Directly adjacent is Miller High Life Theatre, our historic performing arts and entertainment venue with approximately 4,100 seats. Beyond the theatre itself, its iconic rotunda and additional event spaces allow it to function as everything from a concert and general-session venue to a reception or special-event space.

Completing the campus is UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, a 12,700-seat arena that hosts professional and collegiate sports, concerts and special events, with a 24,000-square-foot arena floor that can also be activated for exhibits, dining and other event uses.

What makes the Wisconsin Center District unique is how those three venues work together. A convention can use Baird Center for exhibits and meetings, Miller High Life Theatre for a general session or entertainment, and Panther Arena for a large-scale experience—all within the same downtown campus. Together, the three venues welcome more than one million visitors annually and allow us to create experiences ranging from an intimate executive meeting to a citywide convention, championship sporting event or major concert.
