2023 Stella Awards, the Meeting Industry’s Highest Honor

 

Voted on and judged by meeting planners, Northstar’s Stella Awards recognize the world’s best hotels, airlines, convention and conference centers, cruise lines, destination marketing organizations and destination management companies.

 

RUTHERFORD, N.J. (October 10, 2023) – Northstar Meetings Group and its leading brands, Meetings & Conventions and Successful Meetings, today announced the 2023 recipients of the 7th Annual Stella Awards. A total of 242 organizations from around the globe are being honored for consistently delivering quality service and innovation to meeting and event professionals. The Stella Awards are the meetings industry’s highest honor, recognizing hotels, convention centers, conference centers, airlines, cruise lines, DMOs/CVBs and DMCs that consistently deliver quality service and innovation to meeting and event professionals.

This year, nearly 10,000 votes were cast from around the world for the 770 destinations, hotels and service providers nominated in 16 categories across six regions in the United States and worldwide. Top vote-getters in each category were designated as finalists then evaluated by a panel of expert judges.  Winners were selected for achieving overall excellence, superb food and beverage, professionalism of staff, sustainability initiatives, and other critical aspects of the meetings and events experience.

Two of the most popular categories among nominees and planners this year were “Best Décor/Design” and “Best Event Space,” continuing to demonstrate the importance of innovative event design to meeting planners and their stakeholders.
