Kimpton Quinta da Marinha has opened its doors in Cascais, marking the brand’s second opening in Portugal.
The property brings Kimpton’s playful approach to luxury and life through striking design and sociable spaces combined with nature, wellness, and active living in a setting that feels both energising and restorative.

Located on Portugal’s Atlantic coastline, the 194-room resort reflects the colours, textures and spirit of the neighbouring Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, with interiors defined by organic materials, warm neutral tones and Portuguese craftsmanship, offering a resort experience that feels deeply connected to its surroundings.
The hotel’s 180 guestrooms, plus eight suites and six signature suites, embrace the relaxed sophistication of Portugal’s western coast, balancing contemporary comfort with a strong sense of place. Bathed in natural light, interiors feature mid-century influences, layered textures and botanical accents inspired by the surrounding landscape.

This message of tranquillity continues in the Natur Spa, which comprises a jacuzzi, sauna, and seven treatment rooms. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools as well as tennis and padel courts also feature, and a championship 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones completes the offer.
Throughout the hotel, guests can enjoy panoramic views of lush forests, the golf course or the Atlantic coastline, providing a constant connection to nature.

Kimpton Quinta da Marinha joins IHG Hotels & Resorts’ growing luxury and lifestyle portfolio in Portugal, alongside sister property Onyria Marinha Cascais, Vignette Collection, and further strengthens Kimpton’s presence throughout Europe.
