In 2010, I returned from abroad to my native Cork in the south of Ireland to take up the position of Business Events Manager of Visit Cork, a public-private, stakeholder-driven Destination Management Organisation (DMO). In this role, I am responsible for promoting the Cork region as a leading international destination for business events.
