Conformance status

The websites covered by this statement are partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

While most content meets accessibility standards, some areas do not yet fully conform. We are actively working to improve accessibility and address known issues to make our websites accessible to as many people as possible.

Limitations

Despite our efforts to improve accessibility, we are aware of some limitations on our websites.

Form labels: Some forms may contain fields where labels are not fully associated with the relevant form controls, which may affect how they are interpreted by assistive technologies
PDF documents: We are working to improve the accessibility of our PDF documents. In the meantime, some files may not be fully accessible to users of assistive technologies
Buttons and links: Some buttons, social media links and icon-based links may not currently provide enough descriptive text for users of screen readers and other assistive technologies
Page structure and landmark navigation: Some pages may not yet include the full set of accessibility landmarks that help users of assistive technologies understand and navigate page content
Keyboard navigation: We are aware that some content and functionality cannot currently be operated using only a keyboard and are working to improve this experience
ARIA attributes and assistive technology support: Some page elements may not yet include all the ARIA attributes needed to communicate their purpose, status or relationship to other content
Color contrast: A small number of text elements and user interface components may not currently meet minimum color contrast requirements, which may affect readability for some users
Video captions: Some voiceover videos hosted on our websites use captions embedded directly within the video. These captions cannot be switched off, resized or customized by users and may not be fully compatible with some assistive technologies
Link descriptions: Some links may not currently include sufficiently descriptive or unique text when read out of context by screen readers and other assistive technologies

Measures we've taken to improve accessibility

Alternative text is provided for non-decorative images and, where appropriate, branded visual elements to help users of screen readers and other assistive technologies access our content
Captions or closed captions (CC) are provided on all voiceover videos hosted on YouTube and our websites
Heading structures have been implemented to improve page navigation and support assistive technologies
Most colour contrast and typography across the website have been designed to support accessibility and readability, with ongoing improvements being made where needed
Content is designed to be responsive and usable across a range of devices and screen sizes
Clear, plain language is used wherever possible
