About the British Virgin Islands
Comprised of 60 storied islands and pristine cays, the British Virgin Islands (BVI) are located 50 miles east of Puerto Rico. The main islands are Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Jost Van Dyke. Each of the islands possesses its own special beauty, character and hidden gems; several of the islands are entirely uninhabited and designated as national parks.
One of the most prosperous destinations in the Caribbean and the undisputed sailing capital of the world, the BVI is home to the most exclusive and upscale five-star resorts and residences. Oil Nut Bay is a luxury collection of villas situated on a private island setting within the British Virgin Islands (BVI).
The BVI comprises 60 islands known for safety, beaches, consistent trade winds, and sailing. The North Sound is noted as the Caribbean's most exclusive neighborhood, surrounded by islands like Moskito Island, Necker Island, and Saba Rock.
Travel options include flights from Miami to BVI (2.5 hours), private jets from New York to BVI (4 hours), connections via Antigua, and a 35-minute direct boat transfer. The resort features a private international heliport with onsite customs and immigration.

American Airlines offers 3-4 daily non-stop flights from Miami (MIA) to the Beef Island/Tortola Airport (EIS). The equipment holds 76 passengers and is slightly over 2 hours. Other flight options are connecting through San Juan, PR on Silver Airways, Tradewinds or InterCaribbean Airways.
