Partner Company of Memphis Tourism
In May 2021, Memphis’ Renasant Convention Center(formerly the Memphis Cook Convention Center) debuted a $200M modernization. By the numbers, you can expect a 118,000-square-foot, column-free exhibit hall complemented by a 28,000-square-foot ballroom, 18,000-square-foot secondary hall/ballroom, 2,100-seat theater and 46 breakout rooms for a total of 300,000 square feet.
But you can also anticipate only-in-Memphis touches, including a glass-walled board room, floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor terrace capturing natural light and views of the Mississippi River and downtown Memphis. A new public concourse on Main Street will offer direct access to Memphis’ trolley line and easy entry into this walkable downtown, where the world-famous Beale Street Entertainment District, nightly live music, legendary attractions and locally owned, original restaurants keep things buzzing.
The Renasant Convention Center isn’t all that’s new in Memphis. This river city is rising on a $17B wave of investment. In the downtown core, more new hotel rooms are in development. The Sheraton Memphis Downtown—our exclusive food and beverage partner—will continue to offer 600 rooms directly connected to the Renasant Convention Center.
