Katarina Line Celebrates 35 Years with a New Generation of Adriatic Experiences

In 2027, Katarina Line celebrates 35 years of shaping Adriatic small-ship cruising, marking more than three decades of connecting travellers with Croatia’s islands, historic towns, local culture and Mediterranean lifestyle.

Founded in 1992, the family-owned Croatian company has grown from its roots in Opatija into one of the country’s leading small-ship cruise and travel specialists, offering a broad portfolio of cruises, land programmes and tailor-made experiences throughout Croatia and the surrounding region.

For its anniversary year, Katarina Line is introducing its refreshed Katarina Collections, ranging from characterful traditional vessels to refined contemporary small ships. The portfolio is complemented by themed experiences including wine cruises, active cycling programmes, cultural journeys and pre- and post-cruise land extensions.

For the meetings and incentive market, these programmes offer an alternative to conventional group travel: smaller-scale vessels, immersive destination experiences, local gastronomy and the flexibility to combine cruising with hotel stays and land arrangements.

The 2027 portfolio also includes experiences based around Opatija and Keight Hotel Opatija, Curio Collection by Hilton, creating further opportunities to combine the Adriatic coast with boutique accommodation, local culture and curated regional experiences.
