LAS VEGAS (October 13, 2026) - The Los Cabos Tourism Board is unveiling the Los Cabos Events Industry Conciergeat IMEX America 2026, introducing the first dedicated AI planning concierge developed for the meetings and incentives industry in Mexico.
Designed to simplify the early stages of destination research, the Los Cabos Events Industry Concierge allows meeting professionals to explore hotels, event venues, capacities, activities and experiences through conversational search. Planners can request options based on group size, hotel category, location, meeting-space requirements and program objectives.
"We are experiencing a moment in the travel industry that is driven by information and the need to respond quickly. We understand how the industry is changing, and meeting professionals need to know whether a destination can deliver what their group requires," said Rodrigo Esponda, Managing Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board. "The Los Cabos Events Industry Concierge gives planners a more intuitive way to explore our hotels, venues and experiences. It does not replace the expertise of our local partners. It helps planners arrive at those conversations with a clearer understanding of what is possible in Los Cabos."
For example, a planner can ask for a beachfront property with meeting space for 100 guests, venues for an executive retreat or experiences suitable for an incentive program. The concierge then identifies relevant options using information provided directly by participating properties and tourism partners, helping ensure that the results are reliable and reflect the destination's current offering.
At IMEX America, planners will be able to interact with the platform at Booth D2630 and move directly from researching the destination to meeting the local experts who can develop and execute their programs. For the 2026 edition of IMEX America, Los Cabos is marking an important milestone by bringing its largest-ever delegation to the show, convening 40 hotels, DMCs and tourism partners within its own dedicated destination stand.
The launch comes as Los Cabos continues to strengthen its position in the meetings and incentives sector. The destination ranks No. 4 among Cvent's 2026 Top Meeting Destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean and currently offers more than 19,000 guest rooms across 95 hotels. Another 1,200 rooms are projected to enter the market through 2029.
Meeting professionals and buyers are invited to experience the Los Cabos Events Industry Concierge and meet the participating destination partners at Booth D2630 throughout IMEX America, taking place October 13 to 15 in Las Vegas.
