San Diego Tourism Authority Launches ‘Pick Your Perk’ Program to Help Organizations Kick Off 2027 in America’s Brightest City

More than 30 San Diego hotels are offering exclusive incentives and upgrades for qualifying meetings held January through April 2027

SAN DIEGO, CA — The San Diego Tourism Authority (SDTA) has debuted "Pick Your Perk," a new initiative that invites meeting professionals to host their first meetings of 2027 in sunny San Diego.

Hosting meetings in San Diego guarantees that organizations start 2027 in a positive, collaborative and inspired place. San Diego’s temperate weather allows winter meetings to shift traditional indoor agendas outside, with beachfront brainstorming sessions, rooftop receptions, and wellness experiences to help attendees recharge.

Through “Pick Your Perk,” participating San Diego hotels are offering exclusive upgrades for meeting planners who book a qualifying group meeting between January and April 2027. More than 30 hotels are already on board, offering a variety of enhancements:

• In Mission Bay, Hyatt Regency Mission Bay is offering up to four perks per contract, including 5% off the master bill, a suite upgrade, complimentary wifi, 20% off audio-visual rentals, or a complimentary wellness experience.
• In Downtown San Diego, the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina is offering up to $8,000 in master account credit for new bookings.
• In La Jolla, Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa is offering a 20% attrition allowance, 50% discount on resort fees, 20% off at the spa, and up to three additional perks based on room bookings, including a complimentary reception, 15% off AV equipment, discounts on staff rooms and a complimentary gallon of coffee per day.
• In Mission Valley, Town and Country Resort is offering a 3% guest room rebate, complimentary reception, 20% attrition allowance, 15% off banquet menu and AV pricing, and a complimentary two-night gift certificate to give away or keep.
