On February 5th, 2026, TAM Travel Corporation was officially awarded the "Programa Pais de Carbono Neutralidad" certification by the "Ministerio de Ambiente y Energia (MINAE)", through the "Direccion de Cambio Climatico". This certification is an official recognition granted by the Government of Costa Rica at the organizational level, confirming our verified Carbon Neutrality status as a company.

The "Programa Pais de Carbono Neutralidad" is a nationally established framework that requires organizations to rigorously measure, manage, reduce, and compensate their greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with technical standards defined by Costa Rica’s climate authorities. Achieving this certification involved completing a comprehensive carbon inventory, implementing measurable emission reduction strategies, and offsetting residual emissions through approved and verified mechanisms.
