Among the most anticipated events is the Nameless Festival, which brings some of the biggest names in global electronic music to the lake every year. The atmosphere changes, but the quality remains exceptional in Cernobbio, where the gardens of Villa Erba host the Lake Como Sound Park. Now in its fifth edition, the festival features a rich programme of concerts with some of the most loved Italian and international artists. From Fiorella Mannoia and Morrisseyto Coez and Charlie Puth, each evening offers a unique experience in one of Lake Como’s most spectacular settings.
A taste of history
One of the best ways to enjoy summer on Lake Como is to take a refreshing break with a delicious artisanal gelato.
Throughout the charming villages along the lake, local gelaterias surprise visitors with unique flavors inspired by the territory and its traditions.
Among these is mulberry gelato, made with the fruits of the black mulberry (Morus nigra) or white mulberry (Morus alba), trees that have been cultivated in Italy for centuries.
Once a fundamental part of rural life, the mulberry tree played a key role in the local silk industry: its leaves were the exclusive food source of silkworms (Bombyx mori), supporting a tradition that shaped the economy of the region for generations.
Today, the same tree returns as a symbol of local heritage, transformed into a fresh and surprising summer delicacy.
An invitation to experience Lake Como through nature, flavors, culture and entertainment.
Every shore of the lake offers something unique to discover.
Summer is the perfect time to explore it.
