Working in events means expecting the unexpected, and after all these years, very little surprises me anymore (although I’ve learned that there is always something that will happen at the last minute!). Whether it’s a delayed transfer, a last-minute venue change, or a forgotten logo, the key is to stay calm, think fast, and find solutions before anyone even notices there was a problem.
This industry is fast-paced, demanding, and sometimes unpredictable, but that’s exactly what makes it so exciting. After 35 years, I can confidently say there is never a dull moment, and that’s precisely why I still love what I do.
