My career in travel, transportation, and hospitality spans over 45 years, beginning at the age of 16. My experience is rooted in a family legacy of entrepreneurship following my father’s career as a Hall of Fame NFL player. After retiring from football, my father founded a sports marketing company, which evolved into Robustelli World Travel—eventually becoming one of the 30 largest travel companies in the United States. I worked my way up through the family business, ultimately serving as president of the travel division. The company diversified into merchandise, multimedia production, speakers bureaus, and ticketing for concerts and theaters, giving me broad exposure to multiple facets of the hospitality sector.
After our family business was sold in the early 2000s, I relocated to Sarasota, Florida, where I acquired a small transportation company and expanded it significantly, leveraging my background in destination management and event planning. I then established a DMC (Destination Management Company) in Sarasota, building a fleet and forming key partnerships with major hotels, including the Ritz-Carlton. My expertise in handling large-scale transportation for meetings and events, as well as my ability to navigate complex requirements like high-limit insurance for major hotel chains, further solidified my reputation in the industry.
In 2020, I merged my business with Dolphin Transportation Specialists (Naples, FL), where I have played a key role in expanding operations—reportedly growing the business by 400%. My leadership and deep industry knowledge have led to my involvement in national-level sales and business development initiatives, uniting multiple companies under the Hoffmann Transportation Group umbrella. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a consistent ability to innovate, grow businesses, and adapt to the evolving needs of the travel, transportation, and hospitality industries.
