I’ve spent more than 30 years in hospitality, meetings, live events and audiovisual production—and I still love the business.
I started my career in hotels, where I learned something that has stayed with me: this is a people business. Technology and venues change, but great service and trusted relationships never go out of date.
Today, as Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Image Audiovisuals, I work with associations, corporations, meeting professionals and industry partners to produce conferences and live events across the United States and internationally.
My approach is simple: understand what the client wants to accomplish, surround them with great people, be transparent about costs and deliver what you promised. I particularly enjoy making complicated events simpler—finding smarter production approaches, eliminating unnecessary expense and putting resources where they improve the attendee experience.
My experience spans general sessions, multi-room educational programs, exhibitions, hybrid and virtual events, livestreaming and production strategy. But the most rewarding part has always been the lasting client relationships and the people I work alongside. Great events take a team, and I’m fortunate to have an exceptional one at Image Audiovisuals.
Originally from England, I spent many years in Colorado and now divide my time between the U.S. and Mexico. Away from work, Saturday mornings usually find me watching Brighton & Hove Albion.
And yes, after all these years, I still consider audiovisual production part of the hospitality business.
