Ryan Abney is Proposal Manager at MGME (McVeigh Global Meetings and Events), where she leads strategic proposal development. With more than 15 years of experience in meetings, events and business development, Ryan has supported programs ranging from executive meetings to large-scale conferences and has extensive experience collaborating across sales, operations, creative and client teams. She is an advocate for embedding accessibility, belonging and purpose into event strategy.

Ryan has helped shape MGME's proposal innovation strategy. Her work has also contributed to the development of MGME's E.A.R.T.H. sustainability program and thought leadership around responsible proposal management practices.

An active contributor to the business events community, Ryan regularly shares insights on proposal strategy, collaboration and the evolving role of strategic partnerships in strengthening connections across the events industry. Outside work, she enjoys reading, travel and supporting community and sustainability initiatives.
