Trevor Sookraj is founder of Trevor's Tech Talk, an AI education company that helps working professionals build practical AI skills that can be applied across a range of tools and technology environments.

Trevor began his career at Shopify in 2016 on the enterprise team and later became the first growth hire at Clearbit, which was acquired by HubSpot. He went on to found Divisional, a marketplace for part-time growth talent, growing it to seven-figure revenue and more than 70 clients. He is a Forbes 30 Under 30 recipient and has lectured on AI at Huron University, Colgate University and the University of Guelph.

Trevor's session on AI for event planning was selected as one of six presentations from more than 100 submissions for the main stage at MPI's World Education Congress in 2025. He returned in 2026 to present a session on automation in events. Trevor has also delivered AI education at the ASAE Annual Conference and for multiple MPI chapters. Earlier in his career, he worked as an event manager with Exposoft Solutions, managing everything from evening galas to multi-day trade shows.
