Bonita Mutoni’s distinguished career in tourism and hospitality is marked by over a decade of leadership, including her tenure as Director of Sales and Marketing at One & Only Resorts in Rwanda. As the former Chairperson of the Rwanda Tours and Travel Association, she championed sustainable tourism development for seven years. Her influence extends across East Africa through her role as a board member of the East African Tourism Platform (EATP), the region’s leading private sector body for tourism.

In addition to her contributions to tourism, Bonita co-founded Global Events Africa, where she played a pivotal role in securing the license to host the first IRONMAN 70.3 in East Africa in 2022. Since then, she has been instrumental in delivering three successful editions of this prestigious event, underscoring her expertise in both tourism and large-scale sports events.
