About Me
Mrs. Promila Gupta is a 2006 batch officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), presently serving as Group General Manager / Tourism at IRCTC in SAG Level-14 (on deputation w.e.f. 12 January 2024).
She is heading Railway Tourism business operations exceeding ₹800 Crores and is responsible for strategic planning, product development, marketing, and operational management of IRCTC’s premium and mass tourism portfolio.
She oversees India’s flagship luxury tourist trains:
• Maharajas’ Express (North India)
• Golden Chariot (South India)
Additionally, she is in charge of Bharat Gaurav Mass Tourism Trains, promoting large-scale affordable tourism across the country. She actively undertakes national and international promotional tours to enhance global outreach and brand positioning of Indian railway tourism products.
