After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree from Rutgers' University, Jackie could not deny her true calling to join the hospitality industry. She served as a Catering Sales Manager at a venue in her native New Jersey, where she booked and planned over 200 weddings (and was even featured on an episode of "Bridezillas"), and as a Convention Sales Manager at the Crowne Plaza in Somerset, NJ, before she moved to Music City in 2011 to join the Destination Nashville team. She first served as their Senior Sales Manager, then Associate Director of Sales, then General Manager when Destination Nashville was acquired by PRA Events in 2018. At PRA, Jackie served as Regional Vice President over the Mid-South Region, leading the teams and business in the Nashville, Louisville and Atlanta markets. Jackie is now proud to serve as Hello! Destination Management's first Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Manager, which combines her passion for the industry and cultivating new talent for the future generation of DMC professionals. Jackie lives just outside of Nashville with her husband, Omar, and daughter, Ava Grey. When not exploring Nashville's exciting local culinary and shopping scenes, they love to travel the world (also by exploring local culinary and shopping scenes in new countries!)
