About Me: Christine Gunn
I have had the privilege of working in the transportation industry for more than 40 years, starting my journey as a file clerk at Roadway Trucking in the early 1980s. Over the decades, I have expanded my expertise across a vast array of logistics sectors, including serving as a dispatcher for long-haul sea-to-rail and customer service at Burlington Northern Railroad. I later transitioned into school bus operations before truly finding my niche in Charter Services, where I have spent the last 25 years. The skills, leadership, and operational depth I bring to my work today are the direct result of learning from incredible mentors along the way. I am a self-proclaimed workaholic, but it doesn't feel like work when you genuinely love your job, your industry, and the people you serve!
Outside of my professional life, my greatest passion is my family. I have been happily married for 38 years, and we are blessed with three children, five grandchildren, and one great-grandson. I love the outdoors and spend my free time hiking, crafting, gardening, and tending to our small family farm. Our farm is home to a wonderfully spoiled collection of animals, including Eddie the Aussiedoodle, Copper (our Collie/Red Heeler mix), a cat named Felix, and Kuscoe, our 30-year-old miniature Macaw. We also raise two miniature horses, Charger and Bear, who are the friendliest, most lovable additions to our farm. When I'm not working or caring for the animals, I love to travel, camp, host parties, and stargaze with family and friends around the fire pit on our patio.
