Founder & CEO
SongDivision - 22 years of helping organizations make their values, purpose, and strategy stick through team building, strengthening core values, and improving workplace culture.
Andy Sharpe founded SongDivision in 2004 to connect teams and amplify big ideas through the universal power of music, specifically songwriting.
Born in Australia, Andy played in bands throughout high school before studying law at the University of Sydney. Halfway through his degree, his band was signed to AC/DC's label and spent several years recording and touring in the UK.
Andy returned to Australia and joined IBM's Global Financing division, where he built strong business acumen while earning an MBA. He also continued working as a professional songwriter, collaborating with leading Australian artists and contributing to global advertising campaigns.
After being asked to oversee songwriting workshops for Indigenous teenagers by Yothu Yindi, Australia's premier Indigenous band, Andy recognized a broader opportunity for songwriting to connect people and teams, leading him to found SongDivision.
Today, he leads a global team of musicians and facilitators across four continents, working with Fortune 500 companies, associations and governments to help leaders make their values, purpose and strategy memorable through music.
