I’m Shaheen, Executive Director of the Riverside Convention & Visitors Bureau and Riverside Sports Commission in Southern California. After more than 30 years in the hospitality industry, what I still enjoy most is connecting with people, building relationships, and discovering new opportunities to bring great meetings and events to life.

My primary markets include Government, Government Associations, National Associations, and Sports, and I’m looking forward to IMEX as an opportunity to reconnect with industry colleagues and meet new planners and partners. I’m always interested in hearing what’s happening in our industry, exchanging ideas, and exploring how Riverside, with our hotels, convention center, and welcoming Southern California destination, might be the right fit for a future meeting, convention, or sporting event.

Outside of work, I’m the proud mother of one son and enjoy reading and traveling, especially when there’s an opportunity to experience someplace new.

If you see me at IMEX, please say hello. I’m always up for a great conversation and a new connection!
