I was born and raised in California and have lived in the Bay Area for 33 years. I love both! I started my hotel career in San Francisco as a front office desk clerk, raised my son in the East Bay and am now back for my second act in San Francisco.

As they always say, don’t burn bridges … I applied to Beacon Grand on a whim, not really knowing much about the property. A former colleague from my past life with Joie de Vivre Hospitality emailed asking me to come in for an interview. Imagine my surprise!

When I arrived for my interview, I walked up the Grand Staircase and immediately had goosebumps on my arms, the hotel was spectacular, grand, historic, and was just WOW! I was interviewing here? A week later, I was blessed with the job that I didn’t know I needed in my life!

With that said, I cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, or be more proud to work for, represent, and spend time telling anyone who will listen how amazing our property is with all its San Francisco historic charm.
