With more than 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I started working with Rancho de los Caballeros in May of 2021 as Managing Director of the Ranch. Prior to this, I worked as Vice President of Transitions for Pyramid Hotel Group, where I was responsible for transitioning 40 hotels into and out of Pyramid. Before this position, I was the Managing Director of the Wigwam Resort Hotel in Litchfield Park for a period of 4 years.
Before arriving in Arizona, I served as Vice President Managing Director of the Atlanta Buckhead Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, where I led the opening and re-flagging of the property from independent hotel to Marriott in 2010. Prior to this, I served as Vice President, Managing Director of the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Hotel and Convention Center, where I converted the hotel from a Hilton to a Marriott and oversaw a $27M renovation in 2007-2009. I also held former positions as General/Resort Manager in San Antonio, Boston, and Sonoma County in the heart of wine country.



Originally from the Chicago area, I grew up in a family of 7 kids (6 sisters). I attended and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a bachelor’s degree in hotel management. I have been married for 17 years to my wife Sandra, who happens to be a real estate agent. We have a daughter, Brielle, who is 13 years old and is currently in 7th grade. We have a small teacup poodle named Caymus.
