La Nuvola: Excellence, Innovation and Design in the Heart of Rome
The Congress Center La Nuvola, designed by architect Massimiliano Fuksas and inaugurated in 2016, is one of the most iconic architectural landmarks in Rome. This innovative venue combines aesthetics and functionality to deliver a unique experience for organisers and attendees of conferences, conventions and events. Thanks to its spacious, modular, and customizable areas, La Nuvola ensures high standards of efficiency, adapting to the needs of any event.
The architectural complex consists of three main elements: the Teca, the Nuvola, and the Lama.
- The teca: a structure 40 meters high, 70 meters wide, and 175 meters long, built with 18,000 tons of steel, 42,000 glass panels, 25,000 square meters of travertine, and 18,000 square meters of parquet flooring. It features 28 elevators, 7,200 lighting fixtures, and exclusive Made in Italy furnishings.
- The nuvola: a remarkable architectural element with a curved steel skeleton, covered in a perforated, silicon-coated fiberglass membrane. Inside, it houses a 1,800-seat Auditorium, externally clad in 2,306 Nero Alpi stone panels and internally finished with 4,725 panels of American red cherry wood.
- The lama: a 55-meter-high, 15-meter-wide, and 126-meter-long tower that hosts the 4-star Hilton Rome EUR La Lama hotel, directly connected to the convention center spaces.

Level -1 | CONGRESS HALL
- 9,000 sqm / 96,000 sqft of modular space, allowing multiple configurations
- A plenary hall with up to 4,780 seats
- Up to 39 fully soundproofed meeting rooms, accommodating from 12 to 500 people.
Level FORUM
- A multifunctional 7,300 sqm / 78,000 sqft area beneath the Nuvola, ideal for gala dinners, exhibitions and product launches
- Capacity for up to 4,000 guests
- Natural light during the day and the possibility of night-time projections
Level AUDITORIUM
- A fully equipped auditorium within the Nuvola
- Maximum seating capacity of 1,748, divided between stalls (1,236) and gallery (512)
- Three large, elegant foyers — N3 (1,500 sqm / 16,000 sqft), N4 (500 sqm / 5,000 sqft) and N5 (500 sqm / 5,000 sqft)
