Amsterdam Congress Center offers a flexible combination of conference, exhibition and breakout spaces, allowing organisers to build a complete event programme within one venue.
At the heart of the congress center is the 680 sqm Pearl Ballroom, accommodating up to 708 guests theatre-style. The ballroom extends across two levels and features opera-style balcony seating, creating excellent sightlines and an impressive setting for conferences, presentations and award ceremonies.
Pearl can be divided into three individual sections of approximately 225 sqm, making it possible to adapt the space for plenary sessions, parallel programmes, dinners and smaller events. The ballroom has a ceiling height of up to seven metres and can accommodate up to 410 guests for dinner. Vehicle access also makes it suitable for product and automotive launches, with space to present up to eight cars.
Directly adjacent to the ballroom are several foyer areas, including the 300 sqm Pearl Foyer. These can be used for registration, catering, exhibitions, welcome receptions and sponsor activations.
On the first floor, the light-filled 785 sqm Meeting Gallery connects all 19 meeting rooms and acts as the central hub of the conference floor. Accommodating up to 700 guests for a reception, it can be used for exhibitions, networking, catering and informal sessions. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide natural daylight and views across the Piazza, while the building’s colourful lighting creates a different atmosphere in the evening.
The 19 meeting rooms range from intimate boardrooms for eight guests to larger, combinable spaces for up to 140 guests. Most rooms offer natural daylight and are equipped with audiovisual technology and meeting amenities. The floor also includes Magenta, a dedicated cinema-style room for up to 42 guests.
Together, the Pearl Ballroom, Meeting Gallery, foyers and breakout rooms give organisers the flexibility to host plenary sessions, exhibitions, workshops and catering moments without moving delegates between different venues.
