This experience is named after Bad Bunny's hit song “Café Con Ron,” a celebration of two of Puerto Rico's main contributions to the world: coffee and rum. Bad Bunny is a global icon and cultural ambassador that transformed the music scene and brought increased recognition to Puerto Rican traditions, flavors, and heritage through his artistry. This excursion brings together the rich history and contemporary enjoyment of these beloved beverages. We will visit Hacienda Muñoz, home of Café Hacienda Muñoz, a specialty coffee that has won first place for the People's Best Coffee Award at the Coffee and Chocolate Expo for three years. This coffee plantation offers a walking tour of the plantation that includes the history of coffee in Puerto Rico, the harvesting of the coffee beans and the roasting until it reaches the cup. You will also be able to taste authentic Puerto Rican coffee prepared by a barista and you can buy some coffee beans to prepare at home. This delicious experience continues with a visit to Hacienda Santa Ana, where Puerto Rico's most prized rum, Ron del Barrilito, has been distilled since 1880. We will learn about the fascinating rum distillation process and visit the distillery where this wonderful rum is aged. In the gift shop you can buy exclusive bottles of rum that are only sold here. The visit includes a drink prepared with Ron del Barrilito.
