Destination Florence is the official Foundation and Destination Management Organization of the City of Florence, working with local institutions and local partners to promote Florence and Tuscany internationally, attract high-quality tourism, and support congresses, events, sports initiatives, and destination weddings while managing also the flow of individual visitors and temporary residents.

As the Convention Bureau of Florence since 1995, we are a dedicated and impartial intermediary for associations, corporate clients and agencies interested in bringing an event to our destination. We connect planners with the most suitable venues, suppliers, and local stakeholders across Florence and Tuscany, offering tailor-made solutions and ensuring access to high-quality services. Our team supports clients at every stage of the process, from venue sourcing and bid assistance to customized project development, helping optimize time, budget, and the overall experience. And being the official convention bureau of the destination, all our services are completely free of charge, helping clients plan with ease and efficiency.

Through close collaboration with our network of trusted partners, from historic venues such as Firenze Fiera Congress & Exhibition Center to a wide range of hotels and highly specialized service providers, we ensure that every event is uniquely designed to meet client objectives and showcase the destination’s excellence.

A new key project, recently launched, is the Florence Association Centre - FAC, born from the destination’s ambition and strategic vision. FAC is designed to support associations not only in hosting their congress in Florence but also in establishing their headquarters in our city as a gateway to Italy and Europe, providing a base to host their events, foster engagement with the local community, and create lasting impact and legacy.
