Partner Company of New York State Divison of Tourism
Visit Rochester is the official tourism promotion agency for Monroe County. Our mission is simple. We sell and market Greater Rochester as a preferred destination—for business and leisure travel—in order to grow and maximize visitor spending and to enhance the economy. Tourism plays a major role in the economy of Monroe County as well as the entire Finger Lakes region. To this end, Visit Rochester also advocates for appropriate destination development, investment and increased community awareness, and appreciation and support for the visitor industry. Visit Rochester is DMAP Accredited with Destinations International and a partner of I Love NY.
