Starkloff Disability Institute
Lori Becker is Chief Executive Officer of the Starkloff Disability Institute, where she leads the organization's strategy, growth, financial sustainability, fundraising and external engagement. Under her leadership, Starkloff has expanded its reach, increased its budget by 149%, established a $5.2 million endowment and launched a goal to equip 100,000 people to be Disability Confident by 2035.
Lori's journey with Starkloff began as a participant in its Career Academy. She joined the organization in 2013 and progressed through several leadership positions before becoming CEO. An award-winning public speaker and recipient of the Diverse Business Leader Award, Lori brings nearly two decades of experience in public policy, communications, political strategy and community engagement.
Lori holds an MBA from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and a BA in Organizational Psychology from Saint Louis University. She is legally blind and proudly leads Starkloff as a disability-led organization.
