Dr Mark Guadagnoli is a neuroscientist and human performance specialist who has spent more than 30 years studying how people learn and perform under pressure. He developed the Challenge Point Framework, a model of optimal difficulty that has been cited in more than 3,500 scholarly articles.
His work has taken him from operating rooms to Olympic training programs and corporate boardrooms. Mark has coached trauma surgeons, USA Olympic Track and Field coaches, Ryder Cup members and PGA Tour winners, and has worked with organizations including Google, Amazon, Ford and Procter & Gamble.
His research has been featured in The New York Times, Time and The Wall Street Journal, and he has lectured at Harvard, MIT, UCLA and universities on four continents.
Mark is Dean of Faculty and Professor of Neuroscience at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, author of more than 100 academic publications and two books, and host of The Academy Podcast.
