Tyra D. Dyson, CMP, DES, is Founder and CEO of TDC Events & Hospitality. She brings more than 20 years' experience producing purpose-driven events across the nonprofit, government, corporate and political sectors. Tyra also served as Associate Director of Convention Center Experience for the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

Tyra received the 2024 PCMA Visionary Award for Event Designer of the Year and was named among the Top 100 in Events by the Blacks in Events Network. Her recognition also includes the Smart Women in Meetings Entrepreneurship Award, ASAE’s Meeting Innovator recognition and Smart Meetings’ Event Planner of the Year.

An industry leader and mentor, Tyra shares her expertise at conferences, on podcasts and in trade publications. She served on the PCMA USA and Canada National Advisory Board in 2024 and 2025 and remains active with the PCMA Capital Chapter.

Tyra also co-founded The Brand Xperience Lounge and Boss Up Girl Co. with her daughter, Jasmine. She is a passionate advocate for women and creates experiences that educate, engage and empower them to lead with purpose and recognize their influence.
