- Shotover Jet: One of Aotearoa’s most iconic experiences and widely thought of as one of Queenstown’s “must do’s” there’s no better way to experience the magnificent canyons of the Shotover River than to come on a journey with us - the world’s most exciting jet boat ride. The National Kiwi Hatchery Aotearoa is proudly the world’s largest and most successful kiwi hatching and rearing centre. A not-for-profit charitable trust, the work undertaken at the National Kiwi Hatchery is of national significance. As national experts in kiwi husbandry, egg incubation systems, hatching and rearing, the hatchery cares for over 50% of the kiwi chicks hatched in Aotearoa.
