Overview:
Cirque du Soleil’s JOYÀ is an immersive theatrical and culinary experience housed in a custom-built theater in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. It is the first Cirque du Soleil show to combine a gourmet dining experience with a resident, narrative-driven performance.
Concept:
JOYÀ follows the story of a rebellious teenage girl who embarks on a fantastical journey guided by her eccentric grandfather, a naturalist who seeks to pass on the secrets of life through a magical book. The show draws inspiration from Mexican heritage, surrealism, and the natural world.
