Amy Blackman is the founder of Fruition Co. and a Professor of Leadership and Strategy at USC Thornton. A Columbia University-trained cultural anthropologist, she spent 18 years running the global businesses of multiple Grammy-winning artists and served as a US State Department Cultural Ambassador. She later returned to full-time education to complete an MBA at Georgetown University.
Amy develops and tests innovation frameworks with senior executives, global organizations and students working in culturally complex and rapidly changing industries. Her work brings together behavioral intelligence, culture, trend forecasting and business strategy.
A researcher, futurist and executive thinking partner, Amy draws on her experience as a practitioner to help leaders turn ideas into action.
Outside work, she takes part in international channel-swimming expeditions.
