With 20 years' experience in the global events industry, Cecilia Lavin has worked across venues, catering, event production and her own events consultancy before moving into event technology in 2020.
Cecilia is Enterprise Account Executive at Voxo, a Swedish company that uses AI to turn conference and event content into real-time summaries, insights and reports, helping organizers extend the reach and lifespan of their content. Her experience across sectors and markets helps her support clients in delivering innovative, creative and efficient events worldwide.
Cecilia has also been actively involved with the International Live Events Association (ILEA) since 2012, first leading the UK membership team before serving as UK Chapter President, Regional Vice President for EMEA and International President for the 2025-2026 term. She now serves as Immediate Past International President. In 2026, Cecilia was named an Innovator Award winner in the Smart Women in Meetings Awards.
