Marc Koehler Speaks
Marc Koehler, a former U.S. Navy nuclear submarine officer and turnaround CEO, brings 35 years of leadership experience in high-pressure environments defined by uncertainty, complexity and constant change.
He engages audiences with an approachable style and sharp humor while sharing leadership lessons drawn from operating a nuclear submarine and guiding organizations through complex business turnarounds. Marc combines declassified submarine stories with corporate transformation experience, case studies, and research-backed insights in every keynote.
Marc helps audiences understand that leadership is not limited to job titles. He believes every team member must be prepared to step forward and lead when conditions change and critical decisions need to be made.
He is the founder of Lead With Purpose, a leadership development and research firm where he distilled more than $1 million of Navy leadership training into practical systems that create leaders at every level of an organization. Marc is the bestselling author of Leading With Purpose and host of the Surfacing Leaders podcast. He lives in Oceanside, California, with his wife, Heidi, and is the proud father of three grown daughters.
