President & CEO
ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership
Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE, serves as President and CEO of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), where she focuses on advancing the professional practice of association management.
Before joining ASAE, Michelle served as President and CEO of Association Forum, Managing Director of Strategy and Innovation at the American Society for Quality (ASQ), and Vice President of Strategic and Future Focused Research Programs at ASAE.
Michelle currently serves on the Board of Directors for Destinations International and the Alzheimer’s Association National Capital Area Chapter.
Her recognitions include Chicago Business Journal Women of Influence Honoree, Chicago Defender Women of Excellence Honoree, CEO Update Professional Society CEO of the Year, Smart Women in Meetings Hall of Fame inductee, the John H. Graham IV Association Executive Award, Alzheimer’s Association Vision Gala Association Honoree and the Marin Bright Legacy Award from Smart Meetings.
Michelle is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and an ASAE Fellow (FASAE).
