Event Psychology Advisor
Victoria Matey is an event psychology advisor and keynote speaker with 22 years' experience in the events industry. Combining an MA in international events management with years of applying behavioral science in the field, she helps event teams understand how people think, feel and act, then use those insights to improve experiences and business outcomes.
Her work helps event professionals move beyond best practices and instinct by bringing a greater understanding of human behavior to decisions about experiences, communications, environments and technology.
Known for translating complex science into practical ideas, Victoria has presented at PCMA Convening Leaders, ExhibitorLive, FICP, IMEX and other industry events. She is an MPI Academy and SITE instructor for the Event Psychology Certification, host of the Event Psychology Club and author of 10 Principles of Strategic Event Planning.
